The type of mat installed in entrances to public buildings varies according to the type of traffic, the use of the building, the environment in which the building is situated and many other factors. Traffic frequency can vary from hundreds of feet a day, abrasive dirt may be walked in, wet weather may cause problems. The heavier the traffic the better the quality of entrance mat installed.
